Advantages of storing your email remotely:

Centrally storing your data, you are able to to check and send email from anywhere with an Internet connections through Microsoft Outlook Web Access®. This highly functional feature allows you to access your email through a web browser that operates just like Microsoft Outlook® without physically moving your messages to your PC. This means that you never have to worry about maintaining multiple copies of your Inbox, or about if your computer fails whether you lose your important messages. Laptop users work directly off the server while in the office, and use the Internet to synchronize when they're not.

Of course, we also offer traditional POP3 and IMAP4 mailboxes to users who wish to download their email to their own workstations.

Advantages of storing your email locally:

By having your email stored on your local computer you can always find the information without having to have a persistent Internet connection. Ideal for laptop users who are often without an Internet connection when they travel. Simply download messages when at work, then read and reply as you travel. When you return to an active connection your Inbox is synchronized with the server.

Keeping your email on your computer makes it faster to retrieve, but is not backed up in case of failure automatically.

Domain registration:

To host either a webpage or email, first you must register your domain name (yourcompany.com). Of course, Internet domains ending with .org, .biz, .net, and various others are always available providing they've not already been registered. Most companies with an Internet presence already own their domain names. This makes the process even easier. By simply modifying your current domain listing, your cost here is minimal.

However, if you do not currently own a domain name and need to purchase one, we can certainly start there. Your first three years of domain registration cost $34.99 payable on your first monthly statement.

The cost of email hosting is determined by how many mailboxes your company requires. Basic hosting includes five mailboxes, Premium hosting includes 20, and Advanced hosting includes 35 mailboxes. All mailboxes have a storage limit of 50 MB.
